A subtle breeze blew across the field,
The flowers danced, the trees swayed
Sweet fragrances the season had yield,
Pleasant smells gently strayed.
Behold - summer has arrived,
Animals awaken from their early spring slumber.
Plants with crops, start to thrive.
Sweet berries and crisp apples, green spotted cucumbers.
A lively buzz fills the air
The cries of children mingle in glee.
A wonderful joy they all share,
Hop scotch, tag, hide and seek behind a tree.
One of the greatest seasons in the year,
It’s a period of time we should all hold dear.
